“In STAR TREK: VOYAGER’s first two seasons, Seska was probably the show’s most successful villain. She was a devious and manipulative spy, who, as Martha Hackett says, was more than a little unhinged.”

Martha Hackett has worn more than her share of alien masks. First cast as a rare Terrellian in the series finale of STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION, she was then seen as a rambunctious Romulan in a pair of episodes for STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE. Following this, she appeared as Pok’s mother in a wildly successful home video game, STAR TREK: KLINGON. In addition, she has voiced three Star Trek video games.

The character that Martha is most equally loved and hated for, however, is Seska from STAR TREK: VOYAGER. Recurring for three seasons, Seska first appeared as a Bajoran resistance fighter, but in fact was a deeply imbedded Cardassian spy. Trouble followed her to the outer limits, and she was known to overtake an entire ship with simply a hologram of herself.

For all that she earned two action figures. And the right to strike fear in the hearts of mere mortals ~;-)
